Tips on Selecting the Best Gas Grills

Here’s a summary of the video interview presented above:

Americans are crazy about barbecue and grills. That’s why grills are widely used, regardless of the city or state where one lives. Part of that love is doing the grilling and barbecuing outdoors using gas grills. Whether you’re looking to purchase a new gas grill or replace an old one, there are some pointers and factors to consider.

1 – Buy a grill from a company that’s been around for a long time. You don’t want to be purchasing a gas grill from a relatively unknown company. Why? Because when the time comes when you need replacement parts, you end up realizing that the company is gone and you can’t find the parts to fix your gas grill. Also, you won’t be able to enlist their services for repairs because they don’t exist anymore.

2 – Look for a gas grill which is made of external parts that don’t easily rust, rot, or corrode. There is always that issue of corrosion and rusting in grills. So make sure get one that’s made of plastic, stainless steel or other materials that are immune to rust. Be wary of “fake stainless steel” cheap grills because they will eventually rust even when they’re not supposed to. Getting a grill made form quality material is and investment but you end up having longer life for your grill.

3 – Always buy something you’re comfortable with. There are a large variety of grills on the market today with lots of extra, fancy features. However, you usually end up realizing you don’t use those features. So don’t spend your money on it if you think you’ve got no use for it. If you intend to use the grill for its basic function, buy a basic model.

4 – Don’t believe that cheap grills are the practical choice. Most of the time, people who opt for very affordable gas grills end up buying another one only after a few years. One thing you should know is that cheap grills are made of cheap materials and they won’t last long because they’re not designed to. Make sure you purchase something based on quality. After all, there are grills that are affordable yet durable.

5 – Look for a dealer or store that offers free assembly, removal and delivery. Part of smart grill shopping is knowing where to get it. For instance, R.F. Ohl offers those free services for any grill purchased from them in their service area, consisting of Carbon County, Lehigh County, Northampton County, Monroe County and Schuylkill County. Removal service particularly is a big plus because the removal or disposal of old grills these days usually come with a charge or fee in many communities.

6 – If you’re looking for a gas grill that comes with accessories and other features, you have lots of choices, too. There are so many options like side burners, rotisseries, covers, rib racks, can holders, smoker boxers, thermometers, and many other features. These options will make grilling more fun and flexible.

So if you need a new gas grill, you can contact R.F. Ohl by phone: 610-377-1098 or visit their website at You can also reach them through email, Facebook and Twitter.
